Growing As A Cell Leader

GROWING AS A CELL LEADER

The life of a cell leader is very important. As a church, we desire to see people grow in every aspect of their lives. The three personal developmental areas that the church focuses on out time with God, establishing and maintaining proper priorities in our lives, and being committed to life-long learning and personal growth.

• God wants to use a pure and clean vessel for His glory. Therefore, it is important that each cell leader make it a priority to spend quality time in his or her relationship with Christ. Spend time in the Word of God. Study the Word, memorize Scripture and meditate on the promises of God. Spend time in personal prayer devotion with God and submitting totally to God.

• It can become very easy to allow stuff in our lives that crowd out the important things God has called us to do. Make sure that your priorities remain in balance. God is first, then your spouse, then your children, then your vocation, and then your ministry. Having these in proper balance does not mean equal time. It means that each one is being cared for and not neglected in the effort to succeed in other areas.

• One thing in life is certain and that is that things are always changing all around us. Being a person who is committed to life-long learning means that you personally are always changing just like the things around you are always changing. As both are changing, it becomes easier to adapt to the ever-complex environments in our lives. This keeps us fresh and free from stagnation in our lives.
