The Henderson’s have been ministering in Spain for almost 20 years.  Currently they are working in Extremadura, which is the least evangelized region of Spain.  The Gospel has only been preached in the area for the last 50 years.  Published statistics in Spain indicate that wherein 95% of the people define themselves as Catholic, less than 20% regularly attend church.  The growth of the evangelical church is an uphill climb because Spain is still rebounding from 43 years of a dictatorship which used a “national Catholicism” to control the population.  In this adverse environment, David and Christina have been called to a ministry with the specific concentrations of:

• A culturally diverse church plant in a medium-sized city of approximately 40,000 with political influence over 15-20 small towns providing a target base of nearly 100,000 people
• A marriage and family therapy center
• A Bible institute which equips believers to know their purpose and fulfill their callings 

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• A wide opening for the effective and fearless preaching of the Gospel

• Sustained growth of the church plant

• Favor with the city government towards the therapy center

• Consistent enrollment in the Bible institute

• New ministry partners

• Godly wisdom, and continual anointing of the Spirit to carry on the Lord’s assignment
